- Welcome to Lansallos Class -

Our day

We start off our day getting our resources ready, whilst our adults take the registers and check that we are all in. Then we read our reading books or we might quickly finish some great work off that we are working on, practice our multiplication tables or find a couple of minutes to do some extra spelling practice
After that some of us go to phonic groups to practice our reading and spelling, whilst others practice their reading and spelling in the classroom.
Then we have Maths, we start our lessons with multiplication practice. Every few weeks we change the times table using revision booklets from the Maths Hub to support us. We also use this time to count our multiples on the counting stick as well as spending time on the Multiplication Tables Check - on Maths frame. Then we work on our daily Maths activities. After a run around and playtime with our friends we complete our maths and start our English work.
Then its lunchtime
In the afternoon we have lots of great lessons and activities;

Monday afternoon is Topic and Computing

PE and Spanish are always on a Tuesday with Mrs Carter, she also completes some PSHE activities with us too.
Wednesday is Music and Art - if we have a recorder at home we are encouraged to bring in in, if not there are plenty of school ones to share. Then we have our special book assembly in the hall
On a Thursday afternoon we have RE, more PE and Picture News
Friday afternoons we have Science and Merit assembly

Also on a Friday we have Spelling Tests in our Phonics and Guided Reading groups, Homework is collected in and marked together, then the next week's is handed out. We are certainly very busy!
